A tour curated by Prince Nicholas of Romania

7 Days / 6 Nights

Dear Historians and Travelers,

To truly understand a nation, one must look at the crossroads where its greatest ambitions, faiths, and turning points meet. I invite you to discover the defining essence of Romania—a country whose identity was forged in the shadow of majestic mountains, shaped by the devotion of its monarchs, and rewritten by the dramatic shifts of the modern era.
For me personally, this land is a vibrant tapestry of living memory, where centuries-old stone fortresses still look out over valleys untouched by time. It is a profound privilege to welcome you alongside my wife, Alina-Maria, as we look forward to opening this journey together from your very first evening in Bucharest.

This 7-day expedition bridges grand historical narratives with exclusive, personal encounters. Together, we will uncover the legacy of my ancestors at the majestic Peles Castle and trace the roots of the Romanian monarchy at the Curtea de Argeș Monastery.
Your journey will take you from the communist legacies and royal palaces of Bucharest to the medieval strongholds of Brașov, Prejmer, and Rupea. You will experience the timeless charm of Viscri village, view the legendary walls of Bran Castle, and cross the Carpathian Mountains via the breathtaking Transfăgărășan highway—a true triumph of modern engineering.

So please consider this your personal invitation to explore the landmarks, the contrasts, and the undeniable spirit that define our homeland!
