A tour curated by Prince Nicholas of Romania
10 Days / 9 Nights
Dear Historians and Travelers,
My wife, Alina-Maria, and I warmly invite you to visit Romania—a country of rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and deep cultural endurance. To discover its classic heritage is to listen to the whispers of generations that refused to let their identity fade, leading you to a side of Europe where history breathes through perfectly preserved citadel walls and rural communities that remain the true guardians of time. For me personally, this land is an endless source of pride and wonder.
I look forward to meeting you along the way. Our journey begins in the capital, where we will trace our nation’s history through Bucharest’s palaces, before standing together beneath the neo-Renaissance masterpieces of Peles Castle—the summer home of my ancestors. Further, your journey will follow the cobblestone paths of UNESCO World Heritage sites, from the defensive marvels of Prejmer and Biertan to the medieval heart of Sighișoara and the Germanic elegance of Sibiu. Along the way, you will step into a gentler pace of life, discovering the immaculately restored aristocratic residences of the Bethlen Estate in Criș, the cosmopolitan village of Richiș, and the living traditions of the vast ASTRA open-air museum.
It would be a profound pleasure to welcome you here, so please consider this your personal invitation to explore the enduring beauty, classical architecture, and living history of our homeland!
