King Charles values Romania’s rural heritage, including its medieval villages and ancient forests, seeing them as rare examples of harmony between nature and human settlement. Through his charitable foundation, Prince of Wales’s Foundation Romania established in 2015, he has helped preserve Romania’s natural and cultural heritage, fostering tourism and community-driven projects to protect this unique environment for future generations.
This tour allows you to visit some of the H.M. King Charles III’s properties, you can have a glimpse into the rural life and enjoy the comfort of the various properties you stay at.
More than that, you will immerse yourself in Romania s medieval atmosphere, historical and architectural landmarks of cities and fortified churches and last but not least will enjoy our warm hospitality.

ITINERARY

  1. Day 1. (Saturday) BUCHAREST (-/-/D)

    Arrival at International Airport. Free time. Dinner with special guest speaker and learn about H.M. King Charles III’s passion for the Romanian countryside.

  2. Day 2. (Sunday) BUCHAREST – SINAIA – BRASOV – TALISOARA (B/L/-)

    Reach the charming Sinaia and visit Peles Castle, the former residence of Romanian royal family. Stop in Brasov, have lunch and city tour. Transfer to Talisoara for overnight at Castel Daniel mansion.

  3. Day 3. (Monday) TALISOARA (B/L/-)

    Visit Kalnoky Manor in Miclosoara. Enjoy a hike and a delicious Szekler lunch in Valea Zalanului. Overnight at Micloara.

  4. Day 4. (Tuesday) TALISOARA – VISCRI (B/L/D)

    Stop in Darjiu to see the fortified Szekler Unitarian church, part of UNESCO Heritage List, then have a traditional lunch in Crit village. Visit the fortified church in Viscri and take a walk to see H.M. King Charles III’s house. Dinner at White House Blue Barn and overnight in Viscri.

  5. Day 5. (Wednesday) VISCRI – SIGHISOARA (B/L/-)

    Head to Copsa Mare to learn about „Ambulanta pentru Patrimoniu” (Ambulance for Heritage), initiative supported by H.M. King Charles III Foundation. Hike 3,5km on Via Transilvanica to Biertan, visit the fortified church. Lunch at Malancrav, then see Apafi Manor. Overnight in Sighisoara.

  6. Day 6. (Thursday) SIGHISOARA (B/-/-)

    City tour in the magnificent medieval citadel, birthplace of Prince Vlad Dracula. Visit Clock Tower Museum, Medieval Weapons Room and Torture Chamber. Overnight at Fronius 5* Residence.

  7. Day 7. (Friday) SIGHISOARA – BRASOV – BRAN – BUCHAREST (B/L/-)

    Head to Bran to have lunch at Queen Maria’s Tea House near the famous Bran Castle (visit inside is optional). Continue the trip to Bucharest on a scenic road: Fundata – Rucar – Pitesti. Overnight in Bucharest.

  8. Day 8. (Saturday) BUCHAREST (B/L/D)

    City tour and visits at Cotroceni Palace and Village Museum. Lunch at Hanul Manuc an authentic old inn. Farewell dinner at a famous restaurant with the special guest speaker to find more and share impressions about the voyage you are about to conclude.

  9. Day 9. (Sunday) BUCHAREST – Departure. (B/-/-)
