  1. Day 1. BUCHAREST (-/-/-).

    Arrival in the capital of Romania. Pick-up from the airport. Panoramic view of the city on the way to hotel for check-in. Welcome dinner in charming old district of Bucharest.

  2. Day 2. BUCHAREST (B/L/D).

    City tour: explore the imposing Parliament Palace, step back in time at the open-air Village Museum. Lunch at Pescarus Restaurant in Herastrau Park. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner: savor the flavors of local cuisine at restaurant near hotel.

  3. Day 3. BUCHAREST – SIBIU (European Capital in 2007) (B/-/-).

    While travelling to Sibiu, enjoy the scenic road and charming Romanian mountains landscape. Check-in at the hotel in the city which was once the richest town in Transylvania.

  4. Day 4. SIBIU (B/-/D):

    Walking tour of Sibiu. See the arcaded medieval streets, buildings joined by tunnels and narrow passageways from the XVth century, the Cathedral. Next destination: Astra open air Village Museum, to find out about traditional rural lifestyle. Have dinner with locals at a farmhouse in the village of Sibiel.

  5. Day 5. SIBIU – TIMISOARA (European Capital in 2023) (B/-/-).

    On the way, stop at Calnic Fortress, part of Transylvania UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Hunyadi Castle (or Corvin Castle, sec. 15) called „one of the seven wonders of Romania” and one of the largest castles in Europe.

  6. Day 6. TIMISOARA (B/-/-).

    City tour includes: Maria Theresia Bastion, Banat Village Museum, Victoriei Square, Metropolitan Cathedral. Huniade Castle with Banat Museum; Unirii Square with Roman-Catholic Cathedral, Baroque Palace, Mineral Water Fountain, Orthodox Episcopate Palace, Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, Bruke House and Canons’ Houses. In the evening, enjoy a cruise on River Bega.

  7. Day 7. TIMISOARA – KALOCSA – PECS (European Capital in 2010) (B/-/-).

    Cross the border to Hungary and stop at Kalocsa, walk by Holy Trinity Square, the Archbishops Cathedral, then visit The Paprika Museum. Next destination is Pecs: see Roman Tettye ruins, including the UNESCO-listed Early Christian Necropolis, Pecs Cathedral, the Episcopal Palace, the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter with its famous ceramics, and the Mosque of Pasha Qasim.

  8. Day 8. PECS – VESZPREM (European Capital in 2023) – BUDAPEST (B/-/-).

    Explore Veszprem, the castle district with panoramic views, the Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, Gisela Chapel, Gate of Heroes, Trinity Square. Reach Budapest for check-in and overnight.

  9. Day 9. BUDAPEST (B/-/-).

    Highlights of the day: The Parliament, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Matthias Church, Vajdahunyad Castle, The Heroes’ Square. Continue to Széchenyi Chain Bridge, Buda Castle district with the funicular, Fisherman’s Bastion, Gellert Hill, the Citadel Fortress.

  10. Day 10. BUDAPEST (B/-/-)

    Transfer to international airport for return home flight.
