Attend the Whitsunday mass in Budesti wooden church. Continue to Sapanta to visit ”The Merry Cemetery”, then wooden churches in Desesti and Surdesti (UNESCO World Heritage). Dinner and accommodation at Popicu traditional pension.
Welcome to the beautiful Bucovina, visit Moldovita and Sucevita painted monasteries, then arrive in Radauti city for overnight.
Depart for Dragomirna Monastery, an impressive example of gracious medieval architecture. Continue to Suceava for a brief city tour then drive to Chisinau, the capital city of Republic of Moldova.
Drive to Tiraspol considered a living museum of Soviet culture in the self-proclaimed Republic of Transnistria. On the way back to Chisinau, stop at Milestii Mici to visit the winery and have a wine tasting.
Sightseeing tour of Chisinau: Grand National Assembly Square, the Government building, the Parliament, the University of Medicine. Short stop in the Stephan the Great Park to see the Alley of Classics of Moldovan literature. Reach Brasov for dinner and overnight.
Walking tour of Brasov and visit the famous Black Church and St Nicholas Church with First Romanian School. Continue to Bran, visiting the famous castle related to the story of the vampire Count Dracula. Next stop is Sinaia, the “Pearl of the Carpathians”; visit Peles Castle then head for Bucharest.
Half day sightseeing tour of the Romanian capital city: visit the Parliament Palace, the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon, see the Revolution Square, the Romanian Athenaeum, the National Art Museum and others. Afternoon at leisure.
